The Filter Device:

• The Base and Shell are made of chrome-plated ABS.

TF-1 Veluda Replacement Filter: 

The ceramic filter it contains consists of:

• Coconut Carbon that effectively removes chlorine, odors and harmful chemicals.
• Calcium Sulphite removes chlorine and heavy metals 100 times more effectively than active carbon, such as lead, mercury, cadmium and aluminum.

Tips- Instructions for use:

• Regular maintenance (changing filters) is important to prevent pressure drop and maintain water quality. Before use, let the water run for 5-10 minutes.
• For drinking water only. Do not use in water that is not microbiologically safe or of unknown quality, without adequate treatment before or after the unit.
• Particular attention should be paid to the case where an activated carbon filter remains unused for a long period of time (eg during summer holidays). By removing free chlorine from the water, it allows the water trapped inside the filter to grow bacteria. In this case it is mandatory to clean the filter by passing at least ten times the amount of water of the total capacity of the filter (e.g. for a common table filter where the volume of water inside the filter is about 1 – 1.5 liters, it is required to transfer 10 liters of water before it is used).
